Dosen sekaligus peneliti unggulan, Dwi Marlina Syukri, Ph.D, menjadi sorotan dalam kuliah umum internasional di Walailak University, Nakhonsrithammarat, Thailand, setelah memaparkan hasil riset inovatifnya terkait pengembangan benang bedah dengan lapisan Biogenic Silver Nanoparticle. Senin (22\/9\/2025).<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-84582 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/malahayati.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/dwi-marlina.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"187\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kuliah umum tersebut menarik perhatian luas dari mahasiswa, dosen, serta praktisi kesehatan yang hadir. Dalam paparannya, Dwi Marlina menjelaskan bahwa benang bedah inovatif ini dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi nanopartikel perak yang bersifat antimikroba alami, sehingga mampu mengurangi resiko infeksi pascaoperasi secara signifikan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPenggunaan biogenic silver nanoparticle tidak hanya memberikan perlindungan dari mikroorganisme penyebab infeksi, tetapi juga ramah lingkungan dan mudah diaplikasikan dalam berbagai prosedur pembedahan,\u201d ungkap Dwi Marlina dalam presentasinya.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Dwi Marlina menuturkan bahwa riset ini berangkat dari kebutuhan klinis akan bahan medis yang lebih aman dan efisien, sekaligus mendukung perkembangan biomaterial modern yang bekelanjutan. Kombinasi antara ilmu bioteknologi dan prinsip geen chemistry menjadi landasan utama inovasi ini.<\/p>\n<p>Keberhasilan penelitian ini semakin istimewa karena telah mendapat pengakuan internasional melalui perlindungan kekayaan intelektual (paten) di Thailand, dengan nomor 2003001900 (Thai Petty Patent). Pengakuan ini membuktikan bahwa hasil karya anak bangsa mampu bersain dan diakui secara global dalam bidang riset dan inovasi kesehatan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Antusiasme peserta kuliah umum pun begitu terasa. Mereka menilai bahwa riset yang dilakukan oleh Dwi Marlina Syukri, Ph.D tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi dunia akademik, tetapi juga membuka peluang besar bagi pengembangan industri alat kesehatan berbasis bioteknologi di Indonesia dan Asia Tenggara.<\/p>\n<p>Rektor Universitas Malahayati turut memberikan apresiasi atas pencapaian tersebut, menegaskan bahwa kehadiran dosen-dosen berprestasi di panggung internasional menjadi bukti komitmen universitas dalam mencetak peneliti unggul dan berdaya saing global.<\/p>\n<p>Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan akan lahir lebih banyak peneliti muda yang terinspirasi untuk berinovasi dan menghasilkan riset aplikatif yang membawa manfaat luas bagi masyarakat. Dwi Marlina menutup kuliahnya dengan pesan inspiratif:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInovasi bukan hanya tentang menemukan hal baru, tetapi tentang bagaimana ilmu yang kita kembangkan dapat memberi dampak nyata bagi kehidupan manusia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kehadiran Dwi Marlina Syukri, Ph.D di Thailand tak hanya menjadi ajang berbagi pengetahuan, tetapi juga mencerminkan semangat kolaborasi lintas negara dalam menguatkan peran Indonesia di kancah riset global.
