Kemajuan teknologi informasi yang berlangsung sangat cepat telah membawa perubahan besar dalam sektor kesehatan. Proses pengelolaan data kesehatan yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual kini telah berkembang menjadi sistem terkomputerisasi yang terintegrasi. Dalam hal ini, Sistem Informasi Kesehatan memiliki peranan strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan kesehatan, membantu proses pengambilan keputusan, mempercepat kegiatan administrasi, serta menyediakan informasi yang akurat dan tepat waktu bagi berbagai pihak yang berkepentingan.<\/p>\n

Buku ini mengulas berbagai topik mulai dari konsep dasar Sistem Informasi Kesehatan, jenis dan ruang lingkup SIK, komponen sistem, rekam medis elektronik, sistem informasi rumah sakit, standar dan interoperabilitas data kesehatan, aspek keamanan dan kerahasiaan informasi, hingga tahapan analisis, perancangan, implementasi, serta pembahasan mengenai etika dan tantangan di masa depan.
