Salah satu materi disampaikan oleh Prof. Norsarahaida Amin dari Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor, yang membahas peran medical mathematics dalam mendukung inovasi klinis, khususnya pada penilaian risiko Penyakit Jantung Koroner (<em data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"631\">Coronary Artery Disease\/CAD<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"1041\">Dalam paparannya, Prof. Norsarahaida menjelaskan bahwa penyakit kardiovaskular masih menjadi salah satu penyebab kematian tertinggi secara global. Kondisi tersebut menuntut adanya pendekatan baru yang lebih akurat, aman, dan efisien dalam proses diagnosis dan penilaian risiko penyakit jantung, mengingat metode konvensional memiliki keterbatasan, terutama karena bersifat invasif dan berisiko bagi pasien.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1433\">Ia memaparkan pengembangan kerangka matematis terintegrasi yang mengombinasikan pemodelan berbasis fisika menggunakan <em data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1191\">Computational Fluid Dynamics<\/em> (CFD) dengan analitik data dan statistik. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk menghitung <em data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1301\">Fractional Flow Reserve<\/em> (FFR) secara non-invasif, sehingga mampu memberikan gambaran kondisi aliran darah koroner dengan tingkat presisi yang lebih tinggi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1793\">Menurut Prof. Norsarahaida, pendekatan hibrida yang menggabungkan model matematika berbasis fisika dengan metode <em data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1561\">data-driven<\/em> memungkinkan prediksi risiko CAD yang lebih personal dan akurat. Hal ini diharapkan dapat membantu tenaga medis dalam pengambilan keputusan klinis secara lebih efektif, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan bagi pasien.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1795\" data-end=\"2063\">\u201cIntegrasi matematika, teknologi, dan ilmu medis merupakan langkah strategis dalam menjawab tantangan kesehatan modern. Melalui pendekatan ini, deteksi dini dan penilaian risiko penyakit jantung dapat dilakukan secara lebih aman, presisi, dan berkelanjutan,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2065\" data-end=\"2403\">Pemaparan tersebut mendapat perhatian besar dari peserta karena menunjukkan kontribusi nyata matematika terapan dalam dunia kesehatan dan kedokteran.
